Why is fish more expensive when it isnt cooked?
Decent place for a lunch takeaway. It's nice to see that they make your food as you order it and not sell pre-packaged sets. Bit pricey though.
Best reasonably priced sushi that I've had in Seattle. Really nice, courteous staff. Def recommend but get there early during the lunch rush.
Was looking for a sushi place close to my hotel and this walking distance. Sushi tasted very good and seemed quite fresh. The price though is unbeatable.
Great place to grab lunch if you work near Lake Union and are jonesing for sushi. It's been a great guest experience every time I've I've gone in. Some of the sushi rolls are great but some such as the spicy tuna roll leave a little to be desired. Overall, I enjoy it.
Sushi was very good and the staff was respectful. Also the prices aren't too bad considering it's in the middle of Seattle. Took away one star because they did not offer my top few rolls (I guess they didn't have the ingredients). Other than that, wonderful place!
Authentic Sushi rolls with real Japanese experienced chefs. Delicious food, reasonable prices and a modern casual atmosphere. Try the “Seattle rolls”, the “Unagi rolls”, and the “California with real crab rolls”.
Good quick sushi! Great place to stop for lunch
So delicious. Prefect place to drop in and chill. Grateful for the tea.
Fresh food, various options, good and quick service, friendly.
What an amazing little hole in the wall. They have great quality fish, and make their rolls to order. During lunch, wait times can be a bit since this place is getting super popular. They have some combo like the salmon lover's one which is a great deal. If you place an order, call ahead and wait outside in their little seating area in the sun for a bit. Make sure to take advantage of their free hot tea at the front too.
Good place for takeaway lunch as it is in area surrounded by Amazon offices.Love love their urban rolls. I am not able to get over the taste of it. Too good!!!!
So amazing! Coming from an Arizona sushi noob, this place is perfect. The ordering system is awesome, presentation of the dish is cool, and the taste is great.
Great place for workday lunch with affordable price :)
Love this place! I've been coming here regularly, 3-4 times on Friday for lunch. Everything I order here is amazing! I've had rolls - Geisha, Rainbow, Shooting Star and more, all good. I've ordered the Sashimi Donburi, Chirashi Don under @20 and amazing! I've had their Poke, also very good. Highly recommend coming here if you can make it to Seattle during the day...their hours are M-F 11am-6pm.
Great little downtown sushi place. Lone line moves quickly and the sushi was fresh.
Good sushi, decent price. The place gets quite crowded for lunch on weekdays.
Ordered takeout, quick service, good sushi (I only got vegetarian rolls so I cant speak to the fish) and good prices. Overall good experience, itll definitely be my go to when I'm craving sushi
A very good, medium price sushi restaurant. Personally I got the Poké Bowl which was extremely filling and delicious. Definitely an ideal place for lunch or take out on a summer day!
Surprised that his place wasn't busy for dinner time (during the week). The rolls are quite reasonable in price, the specialty rolls are quite good and complex, and everyone was very nice and polite. Only small suggestion for the owners is that the miso soup is a little salty, but other than that this place is pretty dang good for the price.
Best sushi spot downtown! The wait times can be a bit long but now that they've moved to a larger location with more people it's pretty fast. Delicious fresh sushi at a great price.
Urban Sushi is good takeaway sushi spot for lunch in the area. Their Chirasi bowl is my go-to, and the fish has always been pretty fresh. Even at their busiest, the kitchen is pretty efficient.
Insanely crowded for lunch with what can not be more than a 50 person capacity. However, the cashier is very pleasant and prompt and the food comes out fairly quickly for the volume they're doing. The prices are also more than fair.
Love this place! Pretty cheap for the quality of the food! Good job guys.
Very friendly and quick service. Great place to get lunch.
Going for lunch? Go early (before 11:30), to beat the line. Fish is tasty and fresh.4 stars as prices are a bit expensive.
Quite good sushi bowl (I got salmon only), especially for the price. Don't expect restaurant quality and no udon/tempura, but you are paying a fraction of the price. So for lunch I will highly recommend it.
Very good attention. Sushi is excellent!
They're moving! New address is 2001 8th Ave Suite 150C Seattle WA 98121 - they just did their soft open on 8-7-2017. Great sushi lunch spot and casual dinner spot. Open 10:30 to 6:00pm. Gets pretty busy so you might want to phone in your order. The fish is consistently high quality. I especially like the chirashi don. The miso soup is a bit salty but I usually just add more hot water at the office. The selection is a little limited but everything they have is well prepared. Edit: they have additional options at their new location.
Definitely good sushi for the price. A bowl of rice with salmon or tuna sashimi (Sake Don, Teka Don) is $15 and really good. Can dine in or take away.
I really enjoyed the food and the owners are very nice.
This little gem is located in the busy downtown Seattle business district, on the ground floor of an Amazon building. It is situated between Starbucks and a small "mini-mart" type store. There is some seating along the "bar", and a long, narrow bar-height table down the middle, and some seating at small tables along the walls. The interior is neat, clean, inviting, and modern-looking, very appeasing to the eye. You order in the back corner by the bar. The menu is excellent, with choices of traditional sushi, shashimi, a Poké bowl, and other items. The prices are decent, consistent with this area. The food comes out quickly, and I've been able to successfully have a comfortable sit-down meal as an early lunch, around 11am - although the main rush of course is just around noon and it does get quite busy. The staff here is great. I've received nothing but excellent service here and I will continue to come here for lunch on a regular basis.
Staff was nice and professional, and the sushi we had was amazing, easily the best my husband and I have eaten to this day. We will definitely be coming back
Excellent quality sushi, well prepared and friendly staff at a reasonable price. Love their spicy California roll. Consistently very good!
The reason I think this place is just okay has little to do with the quality of food here (which is fine, if not above average) but the portions and proportions. The sashimi here is sliced quite thin and so a bowl with 10 pieces of fish isn't as satisfying as it sounds, especially after factoring in the price (some might call it the Amazon tax). On the other hand, the rice portions are quite large, which unfortunately just highlights the meager portions of fish.
I think this is the best sushi I have ever eaten. Granted I am from Utah and don't have a lot of options locally. But I thought Urban Sushi was terrific. I had the seared tuna, avocado, cucumber, with green onions and sesame seeds with a sweeter sauce on top of a roll or maybe crab salad. I forgot what it was called but it is by far the best sushi roll I have ever eaten. Service was quick and great. I will definitely come back when I am in Seattle again.
One of my favorite places to get poke in downtown Seattle. They do a good job with sushi (it's in the name :-) ) and churashi as well.
Fantastic fish and sushi mixed with great staff
Chirashi Don B is my go-to. The fish is so high quality and delicious... worth the price and good for a quick lunch.
Small but comfy, the sushi is great.
Extremely delicious sushi. Quick service even during rush hour. It's a bummer that the place isn't easily recognizable from the street.
The sushi here is fantastic and the price is very competitive for the city and quality. I've eaten here 1-4 times a week for the last few years and absolutely love everything they've made me. I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great, cheap sushi lunch.
A friend brought me here. We had a great time in this charming little place. Great sashimi, great shrimp and vegetable tempura. They also make dishes such as clams in garlic butter, huge prawns in special spicy sauce.
The sushi was so delicious, the staff was delightful and service was fast.
Ok sushi.... Spendy for the portions
Fast and delicious!
This poke is overshadowed by some amazing poke places in Belltown, but I enjoyed it. Pros: Atmosphere is nicer than Belltown Area and less crowded. Poke bowl is nicely presented and tastes great with a decent amount of quantity. Cons: The price is a few dollars more expensive than their Belltown counterparts and offers less customization. (-1 Star)
Good food. The sashimi salad was unique, I’ve never had a salad with sashimi and vinegar on the greens. Some of the greens looked a little raggedy otherwise it was perfect. The lava roll was a bit too decadent for me. It is very good, perhaps a bit too good. The urban roll is good, similar to the lava roll.I did like the vegan sushi roll which had tofu, avocado, and something else.
Amazing, simple, inexpensive sushi.
This place is a tiny, tucked-away gem that I found while working in downtown Seattle one day! It's a moderately quick place to grab some lunch during the week. There are only two people working and the kitchen is small, so sometimes the wait can be a little longer. All the food is cooked to order and you can watch your food get made behind the counter! Flavors were spot on whenever I went. Very fresh, good portion sizes and good prices!
